LGBT guests as well as employees have always been very important to Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.  Starting in San Francisco in the 1980's, Kimpton Hotels have always recognised the important role the gay and lesbian community has played in the company.  Right from the start, the hotels were known for their unique enviroments and the gay and lesbian community responded very favorably.  In addition, Kimpton have always been very proud and supportive of its large number of gay and lesbian employees.

Support

Kimpton and its employees are very involved in the LGBT community.  Both the national brand and local hotels make cash contributions and room night donations to dozens of LGBT charities across the Country.  Supporting organisations such as Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association.
